Multiple inputs - DAW compatibility?

We can create multiple inputs into an fx in FS , which is great but so far Reaper is the only DAW that I know of that will allow you to route into these multiple inputs , most DAWS only have one sidechain input .

Unless I am wrong and other daws can also do this ?
If not , I feel that this is sorely needed as it opens up a world of possibilities.

What DAW do you use and can it do this ?

I don't have a plugin that has multiple sidechains. If you would provide a (definitely) working one, I could test it. But in general it is as follows:

I use Cakewalk by Bandlab. In Cakewalk you can route any audiotrack to any audio input that's recognized. So not only to tracks, busses or aux channels, but also to audio inputs within other tracks. When I load a compressor with sidechain input on audio track 2 (lets call it 'comp') and want to use audio track 1 as sidechain control, I simply select "comp sidechain track 2" from a dropdown menu of the audio output section of audio track 1.

This works by asking the plugin about the inputs it has, when loading them to a track. This reported list is then available in the dropdown menu. But, as I said, all of my production plugins come with only one sidechain input, so I don't know if more than one would be recognized.

EDIT:
Just found this in a sidenote. It can work with as many sidechains as a plugin provides:
"By default, a multi-channel VST plug-in always exposes the maximum number of input channels it supports.
You can limit the number of sidechain inputs that Cakewalk displays for any given VST plug-in. This is useful if you don’t need to use all the input channels and you want to limit the number of audio input channels that are displayed in Cakewalk."

Nice, Cakewalk doing it proper!

Way to few DAWs have this capability , I know Ardour allows this, I think Ableton is fixed at 8 channels.
Need to do more research though.

Here is a simple meter with 5 stereo inputs.

Works perfectly in Reaper.

Tested it just now. Put Cakewalk on the list right next to Reaper. I called the plugin "5InMeter", the track it'S loaded onto "the real test" and the word "Eingang" means "input". Eingang 1 obviously fixed to the track it's loaded onto, but that's logic.
