Hi

How can be digital audio sent from one PC to another PC? (in digital format, witouth da and ad conversion) is it possible? I think yes, because Virus TI can send audio via USB.

We have experiences with VST programming and selling. But because of compatibility (64 bit, no mac export, cracks/piracy) we are thinking of starting producing hardware.

I have interesting idea: There exist cheap industrial panel PCs (150 eur) with touchscreen etc. With flowstone you can produce application that can be run in this industrial PC and use its full processing power + you can make application that will be not possible to crack/piracy because it will work only with that industrial PC.

Problem is:

a.) how you can send midi notes from standard music with DAW to industrial PC via USB cable?

b.) how you can send digital audio via usb from industrial PC to your main music computer with DAW

(DAW = digital audio workstation like Cubase, FL studio)

c.) I have idea of building digital mastering machine something like TC mastering 6000 in industrial PC but how you can port digital audio via usb (or any other method suggested ? spedif optical etc)

simply you need one output from main computer to industrial computer
and one output from industrial computer to main computer (digital singnal, no analog siglan because of loss of quality when converting ad/da )
