I don't understand why not doing that...
They said.. we apply a subscription to give us fuel and release more updates monthly... instead of one big update of the year...
But why not..
Decrease the price of the product.. then update montly and add a fee for all updates.
So if FlowStone cost 399$... any update cost 9.90....
So DSP robotics can work for updates, and we will purchase the updates monthly.
In that case we have no limit of components and we can work without problems, also if DSP robotics fails.

I'm looking forward to FS3. I am mainly an analog hardware guy. I was an early adopter of Synthmaker because it was something I always wanted to happen. It has been one of my favourite pieces of software I have ever owned!
The DSP Robotics is also really cool, but I still want to use that stuff in a musical context. Triggering solenoids from within a VST is a pretty obvious example.
I understand a certain amount of political stuff is going on with the conversion. The Synthmaker forum has such an insane wealth of knowledge that represents so many hours of work of MANY people. The users there, share ungodly amounts of knowledge and hard work. The hard work shared by these people has allowed someone like me to get tremendous use out of my Synthmaker purchase. I'm not sure what I would have achieved with synthmaker without their generosity. My hope is these people, who I owe a great thanks to, are made to feel appreciated by the company, as they have given Synthmaker VALUE.
Onwards and upwards!
