Of course it's normal! You will experience the same with other software as well. Why would you want to tile a 8mp photo? Even "Full HD" is just 2 mp. The purpose of a tiled background is to fill a bigger area with smaller bitmaps. There is no advantage in using huge bitmaps.

I can't confirm this. I tried with a bitmap size of 347x325 and it worked just right. Could you maybe upload a tile that you have issues with?

Hi, here's the image that doesn't align right. I also tried it with a 2x sized version of the same image (also uploaded) and it did tile correctly. Maybe it's a minimum value thing?

Thanks to your tile I was able to spot the cause. It was a slip on my side. After writing this, I'll update the original post. Could you please confirm that it's working now?

It is,but I'm not sure what to add to display the image? Wouldn't be the display window?

There's nothing to add. All you need is already there. Here are a few tips:

- Make sure, the image is of a supported format (such as png or jpg)
- Don't mess with the wiring. If you changed something, start again with a fresh module from the toolbox.
- Go inside the tiled background module. You will now see another module called 'Bitmap Loader'. Open the properties view (by clicking on the circle with the p, or by right clicking over the module and selecting 'Show Properties'). Click on 'Load Bitmap' and select your image. Done.

If you are new to Flowstone, I highly recommend reading the user guide! While it may seem boring to read such a lot of text, you learn everything you need about how Flowstone works.
