I recently had a strange crash when opening FS. After trying various things I deleted the recent.dat file and that fixed it. I believe it simply stores the last few toolbox items you used.
Oh, a good tip! Didn't think of it!

I don’t want to find out!
Nothing! FS4 alpha is self-contained. Modules you create in FS 4 don't show up in FS 3. Do the test: Create a module, name it "TEST", drag it into the toolbox. Right click on it, choose "show module file". It will be in the same folder as FS 3 modules. Start FS 3. Search for it. It's not registered.

MyCo made sure that FS 4 can be run alongside FS 3 without issues.

Ooh I didn’t realise that!
My approach was based on the situation when FS4 alpha started up, and back then you had to switch stuff to use it and switch it back for FS3. I think that was a registry key and MyCo made 2 keys as I recall.

Technically this Topic should’ve been on Discord, but I thought it should remain here to inform anyone who might want to join in the future and test the FS4 alpha.

My hunch played out.

Uninstalled and re-installed 3.0.6, and now the schem loads fine. :?: :!:
