I just wanted to say a big congratulations to you guys in this refreshing new project and wish you every success for the future.
only this week i was thinking about could i use SM to create an Electrical Test Oscilloscope software that i could partner up with that little sound-card hack that's shown around the web atm, to help me in my new electronics hobby!

Me too! And other stuff...
I'm wondering whether there is any compatibility with SM in terms of modules. i.e. could I make something in SM and then load it into FlowStone.... and vice versa?

FYI - FlowStone and SM are backwardly compatible. So you can use your old work 
You just have to open with *.* as the extension is different.

So I could build an embedded system using SM? That would be spectacular!
I want to make a hardware synth that includes an old ivory keyboard 120 years old. I'd love to include an embedded system within it, including a CPU that offers Flowstone for embedding, but I wonder:
1)Run Synthmaker on that CPU as embedded system?
2)How to get sensors/switches for my ivory keyboard? (it haven't electronics; it no sounds; it was made just to practice finger exercises)...

Yes you can make an embedded System using FlowStone.
You can see the embedded development kit on the site:

All you would need to do is make your own FlowStone EXE and copy it onto the Embedded systems Compact Flash. You would of course need to sense the keys of your keyboard which you could do using a Phidgets board and some sensors.
