Quilcom SIM-TABLA

Post by Spogg »

And here’s another one…
I’d been thinking about making a tabla plugin for some time, but was worried about all the different types of strokes that skilled players can perform. In the end I decided to focus on the typical “signature” sounds rather than trying to adapt a MIDI keyboard to cover all of them.

Wow! Absolutely stunning! :ugeek:
I have always been impressed by the realism of your drum simulations, but with the SIM-TABLA you've really outdone yourself. Man it sounds so much like the real thing, I would not be able to tell them apart in an A-B test.
And what a clever mapping of the vast variety of expressions to the restrictions of a MIDI keyboard! Chapeau!
