Pozitionable and "Freezable" sampler ?

Post by az-terisk »

Hello gang,

I'm looking to create or rework an example of a Sampler that allows you to freeze the playback position and move the bar in that stage, a bit like the Reaktor "Form" instrument from Native Instruments.

The idea is also to be able to automate the movement with an LFO. Like a kind of granular synthesizer, but with only one voice.

Is there an example among what already exists? If not, can someone point me in the direction of what to do to achieve this?

Thanks in advance!

Go to http://flowstoners.com/quilcom and grab the zip of Spogg's granular sampler. It contains the source schematic. That's your best start.
