Just an idea how to make it a bit easier for me:
if I use a Sampleplayer with a guitar DI signal, theoretical the output is always max. 0 DB.
If I readout the output of each processing stage with max "gain", I thought I could divide the output of the stage, so that it does not exceed 1. Or is that just a stupid idea?

I do not understand what you mean exactly...

the output of the gainstages must not get higher than 1.
I thought, if the input is a wavefile from a waveplayer it always has a known max value.
So if one gainstage output exceeds the max. value of 1, I could simply lower the output by multiplying it with a constant so the output gets smaller than 1.
I hope thats clearer...

Oh, now I understand. Yes, that is a way to go. Or you may add clipper (there is one in the toolbox), because I assume you will be using it also for life effect. Adds a little bit of distortion though.

thank you for the hint with the clipper.

I would like to use some FIR filters for high/low pass.
Can you recommend a module, for that? i just found some advanced projects in the forum.
I just want input/output/cutoff...

FIR filters are never-ending problem in Flowstone (and synthmaker). I also haven't found any simple FIR filter module (nor made one).

oh. thats hard!
do you know some linear phase alternatives?

maybe I will start a new thread for FIR-filters. hopefully someone can help...

As the matter of fact I do! Search for bidirectional IIR filter. I've made one some time ago, is dug deep in the forum, but google should find it.

I think O found your bidirectional filter thread:

Hello,

I still have problems to get the gainstage right.
it shoud look like in the picture...
where is my fault? I added the schematic
thanks,
