You need a special receiver that plugs into your PC.
It allows your wireless controller to sync with your controller.
It's called a "Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver". Just do a Google search.
You should be able to find one at a local store.

If you have a wired Xbox Controller you can just plug it in and Windows will install the driver. So it should just work out of the box.
